World Championship Atlanta, GA (2009-2010 season)
y- Today we arrived in Atlanta, with beautiful weather and got our pit set up as well as our robot inspected. Tomorrow we start the day off with practice matches, then qualification matches. More updates tomorrow!
Thursday- Today we had 4 matches! We had a few issues, but learned a lot, and are looking forward to another 3 matches tommorrow!
Friday- Today we had 3 matches and won two of them! We definatly showed why we had gotten to Atlanta, but didn't make it to finals. All an all still a fantastic, fun, day! Everyone is super spirited and is cheering for everyone! Can't wait to watch the finals tomorrow and then awards ceremony!
Saturday- Today was by far the best! We started off by breaking down our pit, then cheering on our amazing finalist teams as they battled for the title! Our pom poms definatly got us noticed! Then we headed to the awards ceremony and were completely honored to be finalists for the connect and motivate award, but the highlight of our day was winning the INSPIRE AWARD! The Inspire Award is the highest award you can earn in FTC, and to win in World wide was absolutely the best way to conclude this competition! Thank you to everyone who helped us in this amazing feat, we love you all!
Las Vegas, NV (2009-2010 season)
The Las Vegas FTC Regional was on January 30th. The Rock N' Roll Robots placed 2nd! and got the PTC design award!
San Diego, CA (2009-2010 season)
The San Diego FTC Regional was on January 16th at Madison High School. The Rock N' Roll Robots made it to the Semi-Finals and won the Motivate Award!
Los Angeles, CA (2009-2010 season)
The Los Angeles FTC Regional was on December 12th at San Marino High School. It was a very successful event. The Rock N' Roll Robots took home 1st place with their alliance partner from Canyon Crest Academy as well as the Inspire Award. The Inspire Award is the highest award that can be earned in the F.I.R.S.T Tech Challenge and will take the team to the World Competition in Atlanta, GA in April 2010.
Kickoff (2009-2010 season)
This year's F.I.R.S.T Tech Challenge Game HOT SHOT! was released on September 12th. The Rock N' Roll Robots hosted a Los Angeles Kickoff at San Marino High School where teams from around the area could ask each other questions they had about the game.
